    I was kinda bored to be honest, but Kevin Bacon does such a great acting job. I liked how parts in the movie were funny, although the begining is rather brutal and sad. For any into historical movies or true crime type things, youd probably enjoy this more than i did.

    Wow. This was based on a true story about a boy who steals $5 and gets sent to Alcatraz. He attempts to escape and is thrown into solitary confinement and brutalized for 3 years. Upon his release back into the prison population, he murders another inmate. This is about his most fascinating court defense. I was blown away by Kevin Bacon's performance.

    Great cast. Not sure how much of this movie is 'acurate', it almost sounds like in real life it was just some lame way to keep a guy from dying, but I'm sure it was a pretty awful place. This will help expand to me some more great actors to the 'Seven Degrees of Keven Bacon' game.

    Excellent Film! Could not find trailers at youtube or ifilm, but imdb has a trailer if anyone is interested.....
    May be the best performance by Kevin Bacon to date....
