Wow ,um ok where to start,Yes first of all My hubby owes me a chick flick for asking me to watch this. This is the 2nd Monty Python film I have ever watched,it didn't get easier. The logical part of my brain tries to make sense of the movie the entire time,to the extent that I can hardly watch it.Then he explained it wasn't supposed to make any sense whatsoever so I just chilled and went wih it.I think the insane artwork in tis movie is Amazing to say the least, what an imagination! Everything else is just utter nonsense.I will have to admit I laughed so hard my ribs were killing me during the Race for the Utimate Twit or whatever or Lord,I haven't laughed that hard for that long in a very long time.I don't know maybe it's just me and I don't get bristish humor or something. If you like stupid, silly movies like my husband does you will love this,If you are more like me,watch it with him anyway,He can just owe you favors later =)

The film that nigh on invented the modern look at the term "random", in a film that brings the utmost connotations of strangeness and insanity packed into a feature film. In saying that, it's a hard film to rate, due to it's zany nature. But, it is this quirkiness that makes it so enjoyable as we witness their sketches that mock political issues, the evolution of thought and response, and the everyday life of a common man. "Random" is a concept that is taken lightly until viewing this film.

It may be a rehashing of skits from Flying Circus, but just watching these same skits again yet with better cinematography redeems it.

I saw the first ever episode of MPFC on the BBC. At school the next day I talked about it with mates who had also seen it. We were puzzled and only slightly amused, but didn't really have a clue what it all meant, but for some strange reason, we had to see what happened next.. Mostly out of curiosity, I suppose.

Over time, we became addicts and the in-jokes of our little group included references (accompanied by helpless giggling) to such inane things as flying sheep, lumberjacks in women's clothes, Spam, and The Upper Class Twit Of The Year Race

I did a silly walk in the school hall once. Well, it was a double dare, so I couldn't back out and keep face, could I? It cost me a bloody detention.

ANFSCD is a collection of old series sketches. To me it's priceless. It brings back my puzzlement as to what it all meant, my adolescent angst lusting for Carol Cleveland but mostly, the laughter. I'm still laughing now.

Love 'em or hate 'em, you can't ignore the Pythons. Genius
