Some of the interaction between Clooney and Zellweger is pretty entertaining, but the movie as a whole is not what I had hoped it would be. I was expecting more comedy and way less romance, but oddly enough, the "romance" ended up being the best part.

enjoyable - thankfully I didn't see too much Jim in John Krasinski's character. The dialog was witty. Some of the comedic skits were a little hokey but not enough to loose my interest. Even though it?s called a romantic comedy it was funny enough for my husband not to complain about watching it.

Is this a great film? No. Is Clooney a talented Directed? Yes. I love the style he brings to his films. They always look really good. He is great at capturing the style and mood of the picture. The Story is the weak link with this film. it just never really made me care. I think Clooney totally understands the feel of film from the 1930's and it shows. I just was not interested in the wacky story.

I strongly believe that Clooney became a star in the wrong era. I think if he had been around in the late 30's ad 40s we would be still be talking about him next to Gable and Grant. He has that style for the golden age, so watching this film his performance made me think that Clark Gable could have done this exact role also. He has that charm about him. But since he is in this era I'm not complaining, because it is rare that I do not enjoy a film that he is a part of.

Even though I did not enjoy this film all that much I will still get excited about whatever his next directing project will be. I think he still has lots to show in that department, and I'm ready to watch.

This movie was absolutely fantastic! I loved the comedic dialogue the most. Clooney is great fun to watch.
